Các mô-đun đầu vào kỹ thuật số EP1xxx được thiết kế để thu nhận các tín hiệu số / nhị phân. Thông thường, đây là các tiếp điểm cơ học như ngắt tiếp điểm hoặc làm tiếp điểm, cảm biến điện tử như công tắc tiệm cận cảm ứng, cảm biến quang học hoặc các phương pháp khác để tạo ra tín hiệu thấp / cao theo ý nghĩa của công nghệ điều khiển.
Các cảm biến được cung cấp từ hộp điện áp cung cấp US. Điện áp phụ UP không được sử dụng trong mô-đun đầu vào, nhưng có thể được kết nối để được chuyển tiếp xuống dòng.
