These boxes provide a convenient location away from dangerous or guarded areas around machinery for data collection with a portable vibration meter. Links the outputs from several constant current accelerometers to a rotary switch and single connector.

The MTN/3000 series manual switching units have been designed to enable
inaccessible points to be monitored and hard wired back to a safe position.

Drawing shows painted mild steel enclosure
The manual switching units require no external power; they make use of the constant
current supply available in the portable data-collector. They are supplied in the IP65
construction for harsh environments. All accelerometer cables are glanded into the box,
terminations are made off into screw terminals. The units can also be supplied with
various electronic signal-conditioning options including circuitry for the MTN/1100T dual
vibration and temperature sensor.
